I have finally found the paint that I want to use for our bedroom. But I am a little hesitant...why you may ask? Well, I will be the first one to admit that I am not all that crafty. Allbeit I am doing MUCH better in climbing up the "Crafty Scale," but I'm scared I will bite off more than I can chew in this one. :D
This particular look I want involves glazing. Not once, but twice. So from what I understand from all the little freebie paint pamphlets you can accumulate from the Home Depot, I will paint the base coat and leave it to dry for at least 24 hours. Then I mix glaze with paint, use a sea sponge thingamagig (hehe ya like that spelling? yeah baby!) to carefully sponge/mix on this glaze. Then let that dry, and apply a third, darker coat and blend that in. In the picture, this looks awesome!!! Under the direction of me...it could be interesting, let's just leave it at that.
SO, I guess I'm looking for people who have "Glazing Tips" that they would like to share that may make this process go a little smoother (no pun intended ;) hehe). Anywho, I am excited about it, I think it will look great. Now I just need to plan for about 3 days in a row that I have work off before Thanksgiving...
Hope everyone is having a FANTABULOUS fall day! Smile big! :D

Sounds cool. I wish I could help, but I've never done anything like that on walls. But I want to see pics when you're done. Good luck!
holy cow, you are amazing!

Good luck, I tried to do it in my bedroom when I was 16, I finally painted over and gave up. However I didn't have the pamphlets from Home Depot. Posts some photos when your done!
Glad you are alive! Good luck with the painting! Let me know how that goes, I think Justin wants to do that to a room in our house (when we get a new one, so I have a while to get ideas).
